Bogor botanical gardens are situated in the city center of Bogor and adjoin the Istana Bogor (Presidential Palace). The gardens cover more than 85 hectares.  The gardens officially opened in 1817 as ‘s Lands Plantentuin ( National Botanical Garden ). The best known botanical garden for tropical plants in the world amaze you with more than 15,000 species of trees and plants located among streams and lotus ponds, including 400 kinds of palm and more than 5,000 kinds of orchid varieties from various region in Indonesia. Many of the trees are centuries old.

Batik Making Factory
